Pros & Cons

Since we are still looking for a place to live in Louisville and finally a few more interesting places came on the market recently, I packed up for a last minute trip and hopped on the plane!

It has been a busy past day and a half, but we narrowed it down to two great options (with me in person and Jady on the phone) and then discussed the pros and cons of our two favorites.  We don't know yet if it will work out with the one we've chosen, so I'm trying not to get too attached.  But of course it's not working.

Each house you look at has its own benefits and drawbacks, and we really never did see a perfect house for us, so choosing one has always been about compromise.  The one we picked we love because of the fun, hip neighborhood where everyone walks in the evening and you can stroll down to a nearby strip of fun restaurants and boutiques.  It's adorable.

The other aspect of this house we like is its entertaining space, because who doesn't love a party? We love one, and we both love to have people over to celebrate anything whatsoever, so plenty of space for that was important to us.  Also, the first floor has such high ceilings!  That was harder to find in the houses we've been looking at, so this one really made an impression.

What things do you love about where you live?

  2. Love it too, and if it works out, can't WAIT to see what you do with it. I have a feeling you might give the kitchen the old "Jady and Liza do-over"!?!?
