I would love a soaring, dainty, expensive four poster bed... but with so many other home improvement items on our list, we'll be going in a more DIY direction for our bed. Which is great, too, since I love the look of a pretty upholstered headboard, and there are so many fun shapes you can go with to create everything from a modern, streamlined look to something more ornate or feminine. And it's a fun project, of course!
