Copy Cat DIY

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Jady and I took advantage of a slow, post-Easter-madness week and left town for a little getaway.  This was our first vacation trip since moving to Louisville, and we wanted to try a new destination, something within driving distance.  After polling some friends for local advice, we headed off to French Lick, Indiana to stay at the West Baden hotel & spa.  I'll admit, rural Indiana isn't the first place to come to mind when I think of luxurious spa vacations... but this place was lovely-- a throwback to the days when people traveled from far and wide to drink and soak in the famed mineral water bubbling up from the springs in the area.  A couple of days away, and we came back happy and rested-- just what the doctor ordered.

One project on my mind is to do something about the bedside table in the middle room.  It's such a small room with such a quirky layout that there is just no way you could squeeze anything better than a twin bed in there.  And even with a twin bed, there isn't much space left for a bedside table.

I remembered this post from a while ago on Little Green Notebook, and I'm thinking this might be the perfect solution!  Thanks, Jenny:)
