I love a good set of black doors. They look so handsome and distinguished. So, when I was thinking about painting our space I could not help but make a few bold decisions. In my first plan I was going to have the French doors black and all of the entry doors black, too, but in the end I thought we would lose the subtlety. I love the experience of being in a clean and neutral space and then being surprised by a pop in color. In the end I decided to paint the french doors Black Ribbon (Benjamin Moore) and the front door. I love the result. I spray painted our door knobs and numbers in metallic gold.

Great job on the repainting projects! You've done a great job painting your doors, and even painting your kitchen windows black. Months have passed already, and I hope you've been enjoying the elegant look of black frames. :)
