Genius-- and Budget Friendly-- Flowers

We just got back from spending a few fun days in Atlanta to celebrate a friend's wedding weekend and had the best time reconnecting with old friends we hadn't seen in years.  I felt so grateful to be there, since we missed several weddings back in the US that we just couldn't manage to attend while living in Europe (understandably).  So for us just to be able to pop down to Atlanta for a few days feels pretty luxurious still.

This was one of those weddings where every event was beautifully designed and executed with plenty of attention to detail but never overdone.  It was gorgeous.  One thing that really caught my eye was the flowers for the rehearsal dinner, which struck me as an amazing idea: huge, simple bouquets of just Baby's Breath.  That's right, the stuff that comes extra and that you throw away when you buy roses.  I couldn't believe how well these arrangements turned out-- so striking and dramatic, soft and delicate... and budget friendly!  I can't wait to try this look out myself.
