 Welcome to our blog. Liza and I are two gals who share a close friendship and common passion for all things "good looking." Our taste and inspiration come from our upbringing and all the places life has taken us. Liza is originally from North Carolina.    Mel is from Arizona.   Inspiring Landscapes Our paths crossed in Pennsylvania while our husbands were in seminary. Even in the rustic town of Ambridge we managed to find inspiration in local boutiques and amazing thrift shops. I can not say the cuisine of Pittsburgh is all that inspiring, but I can say we created many beautiful meals together. Mel has a natural connection to Mexican cuisine, and Liza executes the classics beautifully. Following our husbands' time in seminary, we found ourselves in two fabulous cities, Mel in New York and Liza living in Berlin and then Vienna. Life and the cities we live in have brought us beauty and inspiration. We thought, why not share our inspirations and experiences? Follow along as we share all things Liza and Mel from our dwelling places to yours. We say bringing a sense of occasion to the ordinary brings life to you and those around you.
