I am always so curious about life and those around me. When I am walking around Manhattan I often wonder how each space is uniquely decorated. Liza and I thought, why not tour the spaces we love and share them with you all? Get curious, and inspiration is sure to be just around the corner.
FIRST UP: THE CHUNGS
My dear friend Lauren is expecting for the second time, and I have always admired her beautiful loft apartment, so I asked if we could take a peek. The nursery she designed on her own is beautiful and so unique. Now that #2 is on the way she has changed up the scene a bit. You may have remembered seeing her nursery here via LGN.
It goes without saying that the fabric is the most attractive draw to the room. Lauren ordered the fabric straight from Uzbekistan. The original Ikat is silk woven and $25.00 a yard. I would have thought much more. So, if you are looking to make a statement like Lauren, place your order with Uzbek Alive.

2012 Nancy's Big Girl Room
The love is in the details. When you live in NYC you have to make use of each inch you have. Lauren's shelves are great space savers, and the added bonus of yellow fabric cork board is the perfect accent to a small room bursting with whites, turquoise, and reds.

As we were going through the room, I took a peek into the guest bedroom. Like a good friend, Lauren opened this special space to us, too!! Come back Thursday and take a peek with me!
