Homemade Tee-Pees

A few weeks ago I purchased canvas, paints, sticks, and magna tac to make tee-pees with the kids. S and H were into the painting of the canvas, but I just never got my act together to complete the tee-pees entirely.

Lucky for me Nia stopped by and made these fabulous tee-pees with the kids. All you need is magna tac, string, and any type of ribbon of your choosing. At some point the kids will just paint their tee-pees. Isn't Nia cleaver?!

You simply cut, wrap, layer, and glue your tee-pee together. The more layers the better, as they add texture and will be easier to paint. Sophia loves her tee-pees, and all of her ponies fit nicely inside too. This project is just the kind of project I love, on the fly. The kids loved this project so much.  We are going to glam up our tee-pees with a little paint, maybe some chevron patterns might be nice.

Happy Crafting
