Next week I'll be taking my final mini vacation within Europe before the big move. We wanted to squeeze in one more little trip in our final weeks, so we are traveling back to spend a few days reminiscing in our old hometown, Berlin.
I love to eat outside (when weather permits), and the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin is the perfect place for it, with its wide sidewalks, tree lined streets and tons of cafes. Ok, so at the end of March we will probably be driven back inside by the chill, but maybe not! I can't wait to visit our old neighborhood and favorite restaurants on the Kollwitzplatz, the prettiest spot in the city.

Thinking of sipping a coffee outside in the sun in Berlin makes me look forward to having some outdoor space of our own (hopefully) when we find a house in Louisville. Even if all we have is a tiny yard, won't it be fun to dine al fresco every now and then? I'm picturing something like this pretty spread from LGN.
This pale pink Ikat print table cloth was a DIY project! Check out her full instructions here.
